Easy Large Print Sudoku
Two things make a sudoku easier: starting with more numbers, and having fewer cells to fill. These puzzles do both. The 6×6 grids use six numbers instead of nine in boxes of three by two — the same logic as a full sudoku, on a scale that does not sprawl.
They also print considerably larger, because six columns across a page means each cell is half again the width of a 9×9 cell. If someone has put sudoku aside because the grid became hard to read, this is the page to print.

How a 6×6 sudoku works
Exactly like a 9×9, with smaller numbers. Fill the grid so that every row, every column and every three-by-two box contains the numbers 1 to 6 once each. Nothing is added or taken away from the rules — there is simply less of it, which makes it a genuine puzzle rather than a watered-down one.
They are a good first sudoku for someone who has never done one, and a good last sudoku for someone who is finding the big grids tiring. Neither is a lesser reason to print them.
If you have never solved a sudoku
Start by looking for a row, column or box that already has most of its numbers. If five of the six cells in a row are filled, the sixth is settled — write it in and see what that unlocks nearby. Almost every easy puzzle can be solved end to end by repeating just that one move.
No arithmetic is involved at any point, which surprises people. The numbers are only symbols; you could solve the same puzzle with six colours or six letters.
